From the up close cover photo to the brutal honest portrayal of a man who comes from utter brokenness, Lecrae's autobiography is raw and authentic.  With that being said, the book is difficult to read as it does not necessarily follow a chronological order of the artist's life.

The author, Louie Giglio, Pastor of Passion City Church has written a very real, raw, authentic book that weaves personal stories, including his own and his family's with scripture stories.  The book is an encouragement to never give up, no matter where you have been, what you have done or what has happened to you or is currently dominating your life.
